Myanmar cracks down on mine protest; dozens hurt

MONYWA, Myanmar (AP) ? Security forces used water cannons, tear gas and smoke bombs Thursday to clear protesters from a copper mine in northwestern Myanmar, wounding villagers and Buddhist monks just hours before opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi arrived in the area to hear their grievances.

Monks and other protesters had serious burns after the crackdown at the Letpadaung mine near the town of Monywa.

"I didn't expect to be treated like this, as we were peacefully protesting," said Aung Myint Htway, a peanut farmer whose face and body were covered with black patches of burned skin.

The police action risks becoming a public relations and political fiasco for the reformist government of President Thein Sein, which has been touting its transition to democracy after almost five decades of repressive military rule.

"This is unacceptable," said Ottama Thara, a 25-year-old monk who was at the protest. "This kind of violence should not happen under a government that says it is committed to democratic reforms."

Suu Kyi's visit to nearby Kan Kone village had been scheduled before the crackdown, and thousands of people were waiting to hear speak Thursday afternoon.

The Nobel Peace laureate, elected to parliament after spending most of the last two decades under house arrest, greeted supporters as her car drove slowly through the crowds, but the vehicle drove past the stage where she was supposed to speak. She instead headed to the mine to talk to its operators before making her speech.

The protesters oppose the environmental and social damage they say is being caused by the mining operation, which is a joint venture between a Chinese company and a holding company controlled by Myanmar's military. Most people remain suspicious of the military, while China is widely seen as having propped up army rule for years, in addition to being an aggressive investor exploiting the country's many natural resources.

Government officials had publicly stated that the protest risked scaring off foreign investment that is key to rebuilding the economy after decades of neglect.

State television broadcast an announcement Tuesday night that ordered protesters to cease their occupation of the mine by midnight or face legal action. It said the protesters began occupying the mine area Nov. 18, and operations had been halted since then.

Some villagers among a claimed 1,000 protesters left the mine after the order was issued. But others stayed through Wednesday, including about 100 monks. Police moved in to disperse them early Thursday.

"Around 2:30 a.m. police announced they would give us five minutes to leave," Aung Myint Htway said. He said police fired water cannons first and then shot what he and others called flare guns.

"They fired black balls that exploded into fire sparks. They shot about six times. People ran away and they followed us," he said, still writhing hours later from pain. "It's very hot."

Photos of the wounded monks showed they had sustained serious burns on parts of their bodies. It was unclear what sort of weapon caused them, or whether the burns were caused by their shelters catching fire from whatever devices police used.

The protesters' concerns about the mine do not appear to be widely shared by the broader public. But hurting monks ? as admired for their social activism as they are revered for their spiritual beliefs ? is sure to antagonize many ordinary people, especially as Suu Kyi's visit highlights the events.

Aung Myint Htway said he didn't care that police treated him badly but added, "I won't forgive them for what they did to our monks."

According to a nurse at a Monywa hospital, 27 monks and one other person were admitted with burns caused by some sort of projectile that released sparks or embers. Two monks with serious injuries were sent for treatment in Mandalay, Myanmar's second-biggest city, a 2? hour drive away.

Other evicted protesters gathered at a Buddhist temple about 5 kilometers (3 miles) from the mine's gates.

The government defended its actions in a statement issued Thursday afternoon and broadcast over state television. It denied using excessive force and said it used fire hoses, tear gas and smoke bombs according to international standards for riot control.

The statement declared that the authorities took action for the sake of rule of law and in the interests of the country and its people, and said the project operated in accordance with international standards to protect the environment.

The protest is the latest major example of increased activism by citizens since the elected government took over last year. Political and economic liberalization under Thein Sein has won praise from Western governments, which have eased sanctions imposed on the previous military government because of its poor record on human and civil rights. However, the military still retains major influence over the government, and some critics fear that democratic gains could easily be rolled back.

In Myanmar's main city of Yangon, six activists who staged a small protest against the mine were detained Monday and Tuesday, said one of their colleagues, who asked not to be identified because he did not want to attract attention from the authorities.

NEW YORK (AP) ? Stocks are opening lower on Wall Street. Investors are still waiting for signs of progress on the "fiscal cliff."

Just after the opening bell, the Dow Jones industrial average is down 45 points at 12,832. The Standard & Poor's 500 index is off five points at 1,393, and the Nasdaq composite index is down 15.

Stocks fell on Tuesday after Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he was frustrated by the lack of progress in budget talks. Broad tax increases and government spending cuts take effect Jan. 1 unless there's a deal.

Elsewhere Wednesday, stocks are lower in Asia and Europe.

e-learning: Explicit Instruction and Flipped Classrooms

Apologies for how long it has been since my last posting. I'm now working as a maths teacher in high school and a full-time relief teacher in primary school which is somewhat of a contrast from that of a university lecturer and trainer in vocational education.

Moving into schools has been motivated by my desire to work with indigenous children and make a difference in their lives as well as "Walking the Walk" rather than just "Talking the Talk" in terms of education approaches.

In Queensland, Australia there has been a considerable push by the State government to bring back explicit instruction and to?abandon the constructivist approaches that have been adopted by schools and teachers over the last 15 or so years. ?Explicit instruction, it is argued, provides a better learning performance and this can be demonstrated under controlled experimental conditions (Rosenshine, 2012).

For the most part, NAPLAN (national numeracy and literacy) testing offers the only?truly?independent measure of education in Australia in years P - 10 and has the ability to be a strong motivator for education administrators in terms of their education approaches and policy. ?Queensland school?performance?in NAPLAN testing currently sits second lowest in Australian States and Territories, so there is considerable pressure from government to look at ways to improve our school's performance.

I've long held the view that if we can increase student engagement in our classrooms we will deepen the learning and improve all students' performance. Engagement?Theory?(Keirsley and Shneiderman, 1999) offer a proven approach that seeks to engage students by having them in groups, RELATE to a complex real world problem/project, CREATE a solution/product and DONATE this into the "real world" for feedback. ?On the surface, the engagement theory model appears to be at odds with the ?explicit instruction model, particularly when it comes to presenting a problem prior to delivering explicit instruction and developing the skills to deal with and create a solution. ?The distinction to draw here is that whilst the real world problem/project/task is presented first, there needs to be a systematic programmed scaffolding that explicitly teaches the skills and knowledge to complete each section of the project. ?The Engagement Theory method is a far cry from the Bruner (1961) pure Discovery Learning approach, in that learners have access to a significant level of scaffolding which recognises that there are key skills and knowledges that need to be learned and mastered in order to successfully complete the project.

Kirschner et. al. (2006) and Marzano (2011) acknowledge this and assert that some background knowledge and skills are required before commencing a complex task. ?Not to do so, dramatically increases cognitive load and reduces learning effectiveness (Kirschner et. al., 2006).

It is well to note that while this research appears to provide evidence for prescriptive courses of learning, some of the most effective learning occurs with no instruction or guidance at all. ?Online gaming and self directed computer-based learning appear to occur very successfully outside of institutional learning environments. ?At my school our students are learning how to use "XOs" and are doing so before and more quickly than their teachers. ?This is an example of pure discovery learning and?serendipitous?peer teaching opportunities. Online gaming uses?anonymous player failure as a teacher and these games are highly successful, learning wise and commercially.

So enough about the tired old behavoiuralist vs. constructivist debate. ?What about this notion of a flipped classroom?

Well, the flipped classroom seeks to marry both approaches together, but in a way that dramatically changes what happens in a classroom. ?The flipped classroom relies on an explicit approach delivered outside of the majority of class time and then uses differentiated group work within the class to allow the teacher to teach all students in a large class rather than the middle group of students.

The following set of videos explain the method and answers to the kinds of questions I had about the approach.

What is a Flipped Classroom

?

What happens if students don?t watch the videos?

What happens if no access at home?

How do to make these videos?

Dealing with disruptive students.

What does your flipped classroom look like?

How does this work for all learners?

So what does it all mean? ?The behaviouralist vs. constructivist is a pretty two dimensional debate and not really representative of the complexities of learning, short of seeking a way of understanding parts of the learning process. ?The cognitivists also have a part in the discussions, but again more in terms of explaining the process. Flipped classrooms offer, in a connected world, an opportunity to improve learning associated with schools for virtually all students through a more manageable?differentiated?approach that does not "kill" teacher. Group-based learning, based around "real-world" projects that produces products valued in the?"real world"?engages students and engaged learners learn more deeply. ?This approach builds stronger schemas in long-term memory. Finally, learning research measures specific outcomes. ?If those outcomes are limited to the traditional acquisition of knowledge and skills then the?research?is limited by the rapid changes in ways of knowing and the acquisition of generic skills and attributes (often called 21st century skills) that will equip learners to learn and re-learn and adapt to new requirements in a rapidly changing world. ?The flipped classroom and learning engagement have the power to accomplish all of the above outcomes and should be seriously considered by educators and schools.

NRA's Club Champion Challenge under the Florida sun

NRA's first Club Champion Challenge at the Tropical Sport Shooting Association

Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - An NRA Club Champion Challenge took place this month at the Tropical Sport Shooting Association (TSSA) in Ft. Lauderdale. Known as south Florida?s largest defensive shooting club, the competition took place at the Markham Park Target Range in Weston, Florida.

"It's a fun and exciting way for shooters to find out who's the best shot in the club," said NRA Competitive Shooting's John Parker. "The Club Champion Challenge includes all ages, skill levels and best of all ... the awards are provided by the NRA."

Rick Lund, TSSA's Chief RSO, NRA Certified Instructor, Stats Guru and Webmaster provided us with the following report:

On the morning of November 17, the Tropical Sport Shooting Association arrived at the Markham Park Target Range for our first NRA Club Champion Challenge.

South Florida presented us with a near picture perfect day for the 22 members who successfully completed our first NRA Club Championship Challenge. The format required firing from static positions, so some of us had to practice getting into those positions while manipulating our firearms on the clock.

An NRA Club Champion Challenge at the Tropical Sport Shooting Association in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

Everyone who participated (and we had a number of people who came out early but did not finish the match) proved to be great competitors. They even pitched in to help helped behind the scene on a variety of stages to keep things moving.

Competitors shot three stages of Pistol, Rifle-Carbine and Tactical Shotgun, some with multiple strings which were scored on NRA B-16 Targets or steel depending on the stage.

The overall winner, Wayne Dayberry, received a Montana Silversmiths belt buckle emblazoned with the NRA logo. Top finishers Ryan Rodriguez (Top Junior), Craig Wood (3rd place) and Jose Garcia (2nd place and Top Senior) were awarded with Club Champion Challenge medals provided by the NRA.

Thanks Rick, hope everyone had a great time at the match!

LearnVest Gives You a Free Financial Checkup and Customized Financial Plans

LearnVest Gives You a Free Financial Checkup and Customized Financial PlansMoney management site LearnVest?our favorite service for getting a personalized financial plan?recently updated its offerings to include new tools for getting better control of your budget, financial priorities, and retirement needs. The free financial checkup shows whether you're on track for those three critical areas, after which you can buy relatively inexpensive, actionable plans created by LearnVest's Certified Financial Planners (CFPs).

As we've said before, financial planning services can be incredibly useful, but with average costs of $200-$300 per hour and 10 to 15 hours to get a plan from a financial advisor, the thousands of dollars cost is beyond the reach of most of us. That's why we like LearnVest, and its new services make it even better. The free financial health checkup measures whether your budget is sound, if you're on track for emergency savings and debt repayment, and if you're on track to reach your retirement target. Along with that one-page analysis, you can schedule a call with a CFP to discuss the evaluation and help you decide your next steps.

LearnVest Gives You a Free Financial Checkup and Customized Financial PlansWhen it comes to the actual plans, there are three financial plans you can purchase. The Budget Starter ($89) helps you create a healthy budget by giving you a realistic picture of your monthly spending and how it should be allocated against your essential expenses, discretionary expenses, and financial goals. It also offers a customized list of tasks you should do to keep on track and comes with a phone consultation and three months of unlimited email support from the financial planner.

LearnVest Gives You a Free Financial Checkup and Customized Financial PlansFor more in-depth advice, though (especially if you've already developed a sound budget), you may be better off going with the 5-Year Planner ($349). This gives you not only the budgeting and financial prioritization advice, but a comprehensive 5-year financial plan with a monthly calendar for how much to allocate for each goal and progress estimates. It also comes with quarterly phone consultations and unlimited email support for a year.

LearnVest Gives You a Free Financial Checkup and Customized Financial PlansThe Portfolio Builder ($599) includes the above and adds some investing advice. It provides a recommended portfolio allocation based on your goal's time horizon and your risk tolerance. LearnVest does not, however, offer specific investments advice (the company says its goal is to make clients feel comfortable understanding their own portfolios). For that reason, and because you can get free asset allocation and investment tools elsewhere, I hesitate to recommend this plan unless you're a beginner investor who has a lot of questions about investing basics.

Overall, I've found the calendar and personalized 5-year financial plan (a full 53 pages including the investment advice) to be really helpful, with actionable, concrete recommendations for how to keep on track with all my goals. My CFP and the plan itself answered questions I had, such as how much life insurance I need and when to start college savings.

Although financial planning services may not be for everyone, if you could use a financial overhaul and professional advice throughout the year, LearnVest is a relatively affordable investment. (Note that you'll need to use LearnVest's Mint-like money management tools to be able to work with the financial planner.)

Tis The Season for Gratitude | Golda Smith

By Golda Smith

?

Here in the U.S. we recently celebrated Thanksgiving which marks the official start of the holiday season. The smell of turkey, fresh cranberry sauce and dressing?it was delightful! This was also the first Thanksgiving without our mom which is probably why we didn?t feel too much like celebrating.

We did however purchase, prepared and distribute food to 21 people. Now that was one of the best gratitude moments I?ve ever had. To be able to do something for someone who could possibly ever repay you is not something I take lightly.

That?s gratitude!

Just the other day my family and I took the train into the city to look at the holiday window displays. They were beautiful. I posted a few photos on my Facebook page. My children were so happy doing something so simple and I was grateful for quality family time.

What are you grateful for and how do you show gratitude?

As a business owner, there is so much that you can do to show your clients that you are grateful for them too. You probably had a Black Friday promotion and gave deep discounts to your shoppers.

What else can you do?

Here are a few ideas:

A Pin It to Win It contest on Pinterest

Create a photo #hashtag contest for your Instagram followers

A random giveaway for your Twitter followers

A 12 Day of Christmas Funtastic Giveaway

Send a pack of Thank You cards to your BEST clients

If you?re a coach, give away a seat in your coaching program

?now THAT?S radical!

That?s just the tip of what you possibly do to show gratitude to your clients during this holiday season. Sure, you?ll hear a lot of people complain that business is slow during this time of year and that?s their excuse for not going to work in their business. I dare to say that they just haven?t been as resourceful as their competitors.

If you want to be given more in life then you have to be grateful for what you already have. In addition, try being generous with what you have. Generous?not foolish, there is a difference. Give to your favorite charity or cause.

If you?re serious about building a profitable business, then it?s time to get serious about showing your gratitude. If you don?t already have one, think about incorporating a gratitude program into your business plan. This year I had the honor of being coached by one of the greatest business minds, Sandi Krakowski. While I?ve learned many lessons from her, one of the greatest is to always show gratitude. Every few months there would come a surprise gift to my door?be it a book, dry erase board, or a picture frame. These were presents to help me grow.

Whatever you give doesn?t need to be expensive. I can hear a sigh of relief from some of you. What matters is that it comes from the heart. I?m grateful for YOU. You who take the time to read and respond to my newsletters, talk to me on social media and allow me the honor of assisting some of your with your social media management needs.

Enjoy the holiday season and if you?re feeling less than celebratory, I promise you that one of the best and quickest ways to feel better is to give the gift of gratitude to someone else.

Garber says talks for NYC stadium at 'finish line'

By RONALD BLUM

AP Sports Writer

Associated Press Sports

updated 5:12 p.m. ET Nov. 26, 2012

NEW YORK (AP) - Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber says the league is at "the finish line" in negotiations with New York City to acquire land to build a stadium in Queens that would become home for the league's 20th team.

Garber says after that deal is agreed to, there would have to be negotiations with the city and state as part of the approval process to build on the 10-acre site in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The parkland used for the stadium would have to be replaced, and a deal would have to be reached with the New York Mets to use their parking lots adjacent to Citi Field.

Garber says the new team could start play for the 2016 season. He also says the New York market is the only one David Beckham doesn't have the right to buy into and the New York Red Bulls, who play in Harrison, N.J., don't have the right to block a second team in the New York area.

Trial to start for teenager who shot baby - San Francisco Examiner

The trial is scheduled to begin today for the teenager accused of killing a 3-month-old boy in East Palo Alto last year while shooting into a car occupied by the child?s family.

Fabian Zaragoza of East Palo Alto and another unidentified teen allegedly mistook a member of the family ? who had been leaving a baby shower at the time of the June 5, 2011, incident ? for a Sure?o gang member, according to prosecutors.

Police said two teens fired 15 bullets into the family?s vehicle as they were leaving the party on Wisteria Drive around 1 a.m., injuring both parents and killing the infant boy, Izack Jimenez Garcia.

The baby?s brother, then 4, was not harmed. A day after the shooting, grief-stricken mother Ivonne Garcia-Lopez, who was shot in the leg while in the back seat, blamed herself for not being able to shield her youngest child.

On the night of the shooting, according to police, Zaragoza was seeking vengeance on Sure?o members who had beaten him up a week earlier in Redwood City. He thought he saw two of the gang members on Wisteria Drive, near the home where the baby shower was being held, police said. He allegedly left to fetch a gun and returned to the street with an accomplice.

The two teens thought at least one of the Sure?os were in the car when they opened fire into it, police said.

Izack Garcia was shot in the head, and his father, who was driving, was hit in the shoulder. Garcia-Lopez said she threw herself over her 4-year-old and hoped that the car seat would protect her 3-month-old.

?I took him out of the car seat and he had a hole in his head,? the devastated mom said at a news conference held a day after the incident.

Zaragoza, who was 17 at the time of the shooting but is being tried as an adult, has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody on no-bail status. Today, the first steps of his trial will begin more than a year after he was indicted by a grand jury on murder charges.

Trial motions are expected to be completed soon and a jury will likely be selected before the new year, San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe said Monday. Opening statements will be in early January, he said.

However, Zaragoza?s attorney, Peter Goldscheider, said Monday that he doesn?t believe a jury will be finalized until after the holidays.

Goldscheider declined to comment on the case before a jury is selected. He has said in the past that the evidence does not prove Zaragoza was the shooter.

Police say Zaragoza made statements implicating himself in the crime, and that the murder weapon was found in his home.

Report: Obama health law a good deal for states

(AP) ? A new report says states can receive more than $9 in federal money for every dollar they spend to cover low-income residents under President Barack Obama's health care law.

Expanding Medicaid to cover about 20 million more low-income people will cost a total of more than $1 trillion from 2013 to 2022, the report estimates. But states will pay just $76 billion of that, or roughly 7 percent of the cost.

Two nonpartisan groups, the Kaiser Family Foundation and the Urban Institute, collaborated on the new analysis.

It also found that a few states might actually spend less than they do now.

The Supreme Court allowed states to opt out of the health care law's Medicaid expansion, an issue that will be hotly debated when state legislatures meet next year.

Fostering Curiosity: Mars Express relays rocky images

ScienceDaily (Nov. 26, 2012) ? For the first time, ESA's Mars orbiter has relayed scientific data from NASA's Curiosity rover on the Red Planet's surface. The data included detailed images of 'Rocknest3' and were received by ESA's deep-space antenna in Australia.

It was a small but significant step in interplanetary cooperation between space agencies.

Early on the morning of 6 October, ESA's Mars Express looked down as it orbited the planet, lining up its lander communication antenna to point at Curiosity far below on the surface.

For 15 minutes, the NASA rover transmitted scientific data up to the ESA satellite. A few hours later, Mars Express slewed to point its high-gain antenna toward Earth and began downlinking the precious information to the European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany, via the Agency's 35 m-diameter antenna in New Norcia, Australia.

The data were immediately made available to NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in California for processing and analysis, proving again that NASA's amazing new rover can talk with Europe's veteran Mars orbiter.

Curiosity's ChemCam images Rocknest3

The information included a tremendously interesting image acquired on 4 October by Curiosity's ChemCam Remote Micro-Imager camera.

ChemCam comprises the camera together with a Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectrometer, which fires a laser at targets and analyses the chemical composition of the vaporised material.

The laser zaps areas smaller than 1 mm across on the surface of martian rocks and soils, and then the spectrometer provides information on the minerals and microstructures in the rocks.

"The quality of these images from ChemCam is outstanding, and the mosaic image of the spectrometer analyses has been essential for scientific interpretation of the data," says Sylvestre Maurice, Deputy Principal Investigator for ChemCam at France's Research Institute in Astrophysics and Planetology (IRAP).

"This combination of imaging and analysis has demonstrated its potential for future missions."

ChemCam laser targets

A third image, relayed separately by NASA, indicates the locations of the laser target points on Rocknest3, as seen by the RMI camera.

'Rocknest' is the area where Curiosity stopped for a month to perform its first mobile laboratory analyses on soil scooped from a small sand dune. Rocknest3 was a convenient nearby target where ChemCam made more than 30 observations using 1500 laser shots.

A wide-angle context image was acquired by Curiosity's MastCam and shows Rocknest3 as targeted by ChemCam. Rocknest3 is about 10 x 40 cm, or roughly the size of a shoe box.

Fostering Curiosity -- and others

ESA's Mars orbiter has also relayed data for NASA's other surface missions -- Phoenix, Spirit and Opportunity -- since 2004, and it relayed Curiosity's radio signal during its arrival at Mars last August.

During the Curiosity mission, Mars Express is set to provide additional relay slots, while maintaining its own scientific observation programme, under an ESA-NASA support agreement.

It can also rapidly provide relay services in case of unavailability of NASA's own relay orbiter or if there is a problem on the rover itself.

Corporate travellers head to new business hubs beyond BRIC ...

The burgeoning BRIC nations are no longer the sole focus for companies exploring new markets according to global business travel management company FCm Travel Solutions. Corporate travellers are heading to new business hubs outside of Brazil, Russia, India and China in order to scope new opportunities for growth and investment in other parts of Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Besides Brazil, FCm Travel Solutions has identified Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Argentina and Chile in Latin America as emerging hotspots on account of the volume of bookings FCm is transacting for clients to these five countries.

In the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region, FCm has earmarked Saudi Arabia, Angola, Ghana, and Congo as countries of rising commercial importance for clients.

And in Europe, foreign interest in the natural resources industries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan has put the spotlight on business travel to both these countries.

?While a lot of discussion has been around the activity generated from the BRIC countries we are starting to see growth in business travel bookings to a host of other global locations,? said Maren Hanschke, director of FCm?s Latin America and Caribbean network.? ?By looking across our global network at where our clients are booking their travel to, where clients are setting up new offices or operations and what destinations they are asking for local travel management support in, we are able to pinpoint new areas of growth for the industry and for our company.

?For companies travelling to these destinations it?s vital they have access to a travel management company with local market expertise as well as global knowledge of carriers and pricing options to ensure their people are getting in and out of these regions safely and cost efficiently,? adds Hanschke.

According to FCm, commercial interest in Mexico is booming because of its location, well qualified workforce and reduced labour costs. Key industries for FCm clients heading to Mexico include the manufacturing, automotive and assembly sectors. Additionally many US companies have supplier facilities in Mexico. Clients involved in the agricultural, industrial and service sectors are also heading to or travelling within Argentina, while Chile and Peru are gaining importance on account of their mining opportunities. In addition Costa Rica and Peru have high levels of inbound MICE.

In the Middle East & Africa, Ciar?n Kelly general manager for the region said: ?FCm recently signed a new partner licensee agreement in Angola in response to demand for travel management services in that region. Angola?s oil reserves make it highly attractive to G20 countries and corporations with commercial interests in mining. Ghana and Congo in Africa are viewed as rising business hubs while Saudi Arabia in the Middle East is on FCm?s list as a country of high potential for growth and investment.?

Commenting on developments in Europe, Franziskus Bumm, general manager of FCm?s European network explained: ?Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan?s supply of natural resources make these countries highly attractive to Western economies. The market in each of these countries is growing quickly, which is why the demand for corporate travel services is also rising. Georgia, which is on the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe is also a rising new business hub for corporations.?
